How to get what service
Names of different levels of survey activities, details of services, duties of land owner, and officers / employees engaged in providing services.
1. Notification: Before the commencement of land survey, the power has been obtained under section 144 (1) of the Bengal Tenancy Act, 1950 and section 03 of the Bengal Survey Act ........... by the officer. Giving notice. Before the start of the survey, there was extensive publicity including miking and advertisements in newspapers. At this time the land owners have to mark the isle / boundary of their land. All documents / documents of land ownership should be kept up to date.
2. Traverses: Traverses are the structures that are placed in the mouzas to make a completely new design of a mouza. Then a new design of the mouza was prepared through P60 seats. Traverses are not used when surveying old designs of any mouza i.e. blue-print sheets. Travers was led by a team of surveyors led by a surveyor.
3. Kistoar: At this level, Amindal measures each piece of land, reflects it on the mouza design, completes the kistoar by drawing new designs, or revises the old design in blueprint. This level of work is supervised by a Deputy Assistant Settlement Officer (Kanungo).
4. Khanapuri: After appearing in the land of each dag of the pattern drawn at Kistoar level, Amin Dal gives the dag number of the land and after checking the owner's records, deeds and possession, records the name, address and other information of the owner in the ledger (khanapuri). At this level, the task of the land owners is to present the evidence of ownership and possession of the land to the Aminadal.
5. Understanding: Meaning of land. At this level the khatian or pamphlet prepared by the Amin Dal is supplied (understood) to the land owner, which is known as field pamphlet. The date of distribution of the leaflets is announced through notice / notice in the newspaper / miking in the area. The landowners will verify the accuracy of the receipt and if any correction or change is required, they will fill in the specified form and submit it to Amin. A Deputy Assistant Settlement Officer (Kanungo) as light officer will expedite the settlement of such disputes through a hearing of the parties concerned.
6. Khanapuri and Bujharat: When a mouza is surveyed on a blueprint sheet through traverses and keystones, the above mentioned khanapuri and bujharat level work is done together. Sardar Amin / Light Officer or Kanungo / Cadastral Circle Officer.
6. Attestation or attestation: Tasadik level work is done through wide publicity. Tasadik level work is done by a Kanungo or Revenue Officer. All the documents and evidences related to land ownership are verified and every understanding ledger is attested. At this level also landowners can file a dispute if they feel the need to amend the pamphlet and design and take the opportunity to amend it by presenting appropriate evidence. The attested pamphlet is considered as the primary legal document for land ownership. So this level of work is very important.
. Draft Publication (DP) and Objection: After verification, the land records are kept open for public display for 30 days. A notification was also issued from the camp office mentioning its duration. In order to collect the new number i.e. DP number in the khatian by arranging the khatian or pamphlet in alphabetical order according to the initials of the land owners name and the land owners have to attend the draft publication (DP) camp along with their pamphlets. If anyone has any objection or demand regarding the ledger published in DP, the government can file an objection in accordance with Rule 30 of the Tenancy Rules by filling the prescribed form with a court fee of 10 (ten) rupees. 9. Objection Hearing: The objection cases received during the DP are disposed of by giving notice to the concerned parties through notice and hearing is held on the specified date, time and place. The parties can present their respective objections to the officer in person or through the nominated representative. After hearing the objections, the officer will inform the parties of the decision in the case document and make necessary corrections in the light of the decision. 10. Appeal Hearing: In the judgment of objection, the aggrieved party can file an appeal under Rule 31. An appeal has to be filed along with the prescribed court fee and cartridge paper along with the copy of the judgment of the relevant objection case by submitting the application along with the settlement officer. The appeal is disposed of by holding a hearing on the specified date, time and place by informing the concerned party through notice.
